2005-01-07 - Information identifying this instrument from the Austin Organs, Inc. web site, accessed December 29, 2004: http://www.austinorgans.com/organ-research.htm. -Database Manager

2013-05-07 - Updated through online information from Very Rev. Dennis M. Perkins. -- I am the pastor of St. Michael Church. The church building has structural issues and cannot be used. The organ was moved into storage by the Organ Clearing House on May 4, 2013. The organ will be re-installed at St. Michael's when the church is rebuilt. -Database Manager

2021-04-05 - While the structural unsound church was to be repaired, further investigation suggested the repairs would be too costly and the church was torn down. A visual duplicate was constructed using modern materials. Due to a longer-than expected fund-raising endeavor, the church was not completed and the organ reinstalled by the Organ Clearing House until January 2020. The revised church plan placed air-conditioning equipment in the gallery corner where the Swell stood originally. This necessitated the Swell chest, original perpendicular to the Great and against the side wall, be turned 90 degrees to be in line with the Great and installed to its right in a newly-constructed Swell chamber. Since the cellar blower room was not reinstated, a new blower had to be installed in the gallery behind the Great chest where it is rather too audible. Other than being releathered and reconfigured to fit, the organ underwent no other alterations. -Scot Huntington
