2010-03-31 - Updated through on-line information from John Bishop. -- I was organist/director of music at Calvary Presbyterian from April 1975 to October 1983, starting as a student at Oberlin. I understood that tonal changes had been made by Schantz but never researched that. Albert Riemenschneider was organist at Calvary when new console was installed. The pastors and congregation had been deeply involved in the Civil Rights Movement and effective community activism. At least when I knew the place it was a terrific church. -Database Manager

2021-02-27 - The organ no longer functions but, the church plans to fix it someday. The facade pipes are not speaking pipes. -Solomon Wickline
