2008-09-29 - Updated through information published in Austin's Windline, Summer 2008: "This organ served, without alteration, re-leathering, or major repair until the 1970's, when the basement (where the blower was located) was apparently flooded. Water in great volume was blown into the organ's airbox, basically destroying the instrument from the botom up. Over time, the console was 'lost' and the organ was left to ruin." "The [new] organ will occupy the existing the existing space, and will sit behind the existing façade." -Database Manager
2011-11-17 - Updated through online information from Darrin Upp. -- Served as organist at Miami U. for several years, and played most of the extant organs in Oxford area. When I was in the area, there was nothing left of this organ save the chamber. Even the facade was not in evidence. It must have been in storage somewhere at the time. The organ was due to be rebuilt. -Database Manager
