2008-01-12 - Updated through on-line information from jim lewis. -- The organ was removed c.1980 when the church was razed. It was in storage for a while and eventually broken up for parts. -Database Manager
2015-09-01 - Updated through online information from Michael Williamson. -- Organ removed by Williamson-Warne & Associates between January and April 1983. Organ was arranged to be sold to the First Nazarene Church, Pasadena California. Deal fell through.<br><br>Organ, upon its removal was stored at the central facility of ‘The Gas Company- (who purchased the church property) for a period of 3 years. Organ was eventually sold in 1986, to Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, California, for their new chapel.<br><br>Rose Hills stored the organ for 5 years, and decided to purchase a new organ instead. Returned ownership to First Methodist Church. First Methodist Church subsequently gave the organ to Williamson-Warne & Associates.<br><br>Pipework salvaged, and utilized in several instruments, including Hollywood United Methodist Church, Hollywood California. -Database Manager
