2018-02-26 - Updated by James R. Stettner, listing conversations with this person as the source of the information: A compilation of Methuen organ history by Robert J. Reich of the Andover Organ Co.<br> This was the parish's first church built in 1840. The cost of the Hook is recorded as having been $1,200.00. The building and organ burned in 1869. The second church was built on the same site in 1870 and housed a new Stevens instrument. -Database Manager
