2005-02-28 - Identified from company publications as edited and expanded in The Hook Opus List 1829-1935, ed. William T. Van Pelt (Organ Historical Society, 1991). -Database Manager

2023-07-09 - from Historic PHotos of New Bedford Facebook Page caption: North Congregational or "Stone Church" as built and as it looked after the widening of Purchase Street - and the organ. The organ was removed for restoration in the late 1960s. The rebuilder never made good and the organ was never returned. The church was structurally damaged during the demolition of the Empire Theatre and subsequently torn down about 1970. The congregation reopened the United Church (Pilgrim United) which had been in mothballs since a merger in the 1960s. -Andrew Scanlon

2023-07-09 - Historic New Bedford page indicates the organ was taken out in 1960s for renovation and never returned. -Andrew Scanlon
