2024-08-14 - The stoplist of the organ was published in the Owosso (MI) Times, September 16, 1892, 1, and a review of the opening recital appeared in the same newspaper, September 30, 1892, 5; see under "Documents." Owosso is the correct name of the town. "Owasso" in the list of Hook & Hastings organs reproduced in William T. Van Pelt, comp., The Hook Opus List, 1829–1916 in Facsimile (Richmond, VA: Organ Historical Society, 1991), is an error. -Charles Eberline
