2005-09-05 - On-line update from David W. Lewis, Jr. -- After the deaths of Dr. and Mrs. Ellingwood about 1901, this organ was purchased by the Altar Guild of First English Lutheran Church and installed in the chancel of the building in the 800 block of Edmond Street in 1902. When the church built a new building in 1914, the organ was set up in A. E. Henckler's Music Store at 905 Edmond, before finding a new home in the Francis Street Baptist Church.
