2020-12-10 - From the NYC AGO NYC Organ Project: Bethany Chapel, a mission of the Reformed Church in America, was organized in 1869. A building was soon erected on Hudson Avenue, near Myrtle Avenue. In 1902, Bethany Chapel merged into the North Reformed Church to form Bethany Church. This organ was built in 1887 by Hook & Hastings of Boston. The organ was later moved (c.1908) to the Roman Catholic Church of the Resurrection in Harlem. -Jeff Scofield
