2016-01-04 - Updated through online information from Scot Huntington. <br>The Hook was eventually replaced with a 2-manual, 4-rank Wurlitzer Style B "from a theater in Bath", with the Chimes as the only remaining percussion. The Babcock Theatre in Bath, new York, built in 1924, was the only theater in Bath after the Park burned down in 1922, and purchased a Wurlitzer Style B in 1927. The Wurlitzer installed at St. James lasted until the early to mid-1960s when it was replaced with an electronic located at the front of the church, which in turn was replaced with a Holtkamp in 1982, placed in the rear gallery. -Database Manager
