2016-06-25 - Updated through online information from Charles Glandorf. <br>The organ was bought by another church in Buffalo, NY where it had been installed with chests electrified. It also had additions made to it. It was then sold to a private person who had some of it installed in a home and then later put into storage. At the time of the sale from the second church all reeds except a Swell Oboe, Choir Vox Humana (a later addition) the Swell Vox Humana and Choir Clarinet had been taken by the organ builder who moved it. While in storage by the private owner, one of the buildings burned and all chests were lost as well as Pedal Wood Open, Pedal Bourdon and other assorted parts. Some of the pipes were damaged. I purchased what remains of the instrument, using it as the nucleus of what will be an instrument in my barn converted into a music room. Reeds from other Hook and Roosevelt organs of like vintage will be in the swell and other stops added to make a very complete instrument. Since no chests survived, Pitman chests are being used. Completion date is not yet determined. -Database Manager
