2021-02-20 - Replaced an earlier [as yet] unidentified organ. In *The Philadelphia Inquirer*, 23 Nov 1867, p2, "Protestant Episcopal" news, its relocation is referenced: "Rev. G. W. Brown, rector of St. John's Church, Norristown, has adopted congregational singing, thereby doing away with the choir to a certain extent. The organ will herafter occupy the northeast corner of the building, and in the gallery will be placed about twenty pews. The improvements will be completed in about two or three weeks." -Paul R. Marchesano
