2013-05-07 - Updated through online information from Jonathan Hehn. -- A testimonial letter about this organ, found in van Pelt's Hook Opus List (Organ Historical Society, 1991) confirms the presence of a pedal division on this organ, though there is no list of stops. -Database Manager
The full organ comprised of 29½ stops, and 1,552 pipes. (Taken from The North American and Daily Advertiser, Philadelphia, PA. October 12th 1840. The Organ Historical Society Archives.) The news paper article does not say what pitch these stops are. I assume that the Op. Diap and the Sub Bass are at 16. Dulciana could be either 16 or 8. - JMB Source: Jonathan Hehn 2013-02-06; updated (Pedal stops) Jonathan M. Bowen 2024-03-15
