2016-10-02 - Updated through online information from Josh Sellner. <br>According to the parish centennial history, this organ was installed at St. Mary's in Tracy, Minnesota as a second-hand instrument in 1921 or 1922. The history only states that it was hauled in from Minneapolis or St. Paul; nothing about where it came from. However, the number '1269' is written on a part of the chassis on the rear of the instrument. If that number is the opus number, it would match up to the instrument built in 1885 for Christ Church Cathedral in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The entry for that organ states that it had 17 registers when built, which this instrument had at one time (one drawknob hole in the keydesk has been plugged). The instrument was rebuilt/altered at some point by the Rutz Organ Co. of Morristown, Minnesota. -Database Manager
