2005-04-06 - Identified through information in the list of Pilcher organs typed by William E. Pilcher of Louisville. For more information see the document referenced below. -Database Manager

2013-08-31 - Updated through online information from Hunter Godsey. -- Construction of the third and final sanctuary of FBC Macon was nearing completion in 1885 when a devastating fire caused major damage. (The reason this church was being built was because the previous sanctuary had just burned down 34 months previous.) On Dec 4, 1885--the day after the fire--an organ was authorized for purchase at a cost of $2500. According the official church minutes, "the new organ was installed in early February, 1887, tested, and found satisfactory." -Database Manager
