2006-01-14 - Updated through online information from Samuel Melson Jr.. -- My mother lived a block away from the Baptist Church in Aurora when it burned in the late 1930s. The church was pictured in postcards and it was a very beautiful, almost gothic structure. The congregation had a smaller church erected afterwards that probably didn't have the old pipe organ and the pipe organ likely didn't survive the fire. -Database Manager
