2014-09-02 - Updated through online information from Timothy E. Conyers. -- Old photos show a detached console on the right side of the nave and facing the congregation. Although at the edge of the photo, it appears a choir loft was located in an alcove on this side of the building. The old Parkway Avenue building is currently owned by Christ Gospel Church (Sept 2014). The pipe facade and case still exist at the front of the platform and have not changed in appearance since the instrument was originally installed. It is doubtful any of the original pipework or chests exist in the chamber since the instrument supposedly was taken in trade; possibly when the Friedens congregation built a new building in the suburbs and a new instrument was built at that location. The original console no longeonr exists, and an electric organ is now pushed against the chancel wall. The choir alcove and the balcony above it have since had a wall built across its length.
