2008-01-22 - Updated through on-line information from woody crouch. -- Tubular pneumatic action, original chests and console replaced with e/p pilcher components from 1924 Pilcher organ in the First Presbyterian church, Richmond, Kentucky, which was replaced in 1967 by a Casavant tracker organ of 2 manuals and approximately 29 ranks. I was given this organ in 1969 to make way for the new Steiner organ. The pipes are presently on the Pilcher [EP] chests from the 1st Presbyterian Church and are in my late parents' home in Springfield, Kentucky, still playing after a fashion. I got the organ playing just before I left home for college in 1968 and have lived in Richmond, Kentucky most of the time since, playing the organ on occasions I returned home.<p> -Database Manager
