2008-07-05 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The church was originally built as First Congregational. It became the United Parish when First Methodist merged with them on January 15, 1970. There are Great Piano and Forte combination foot trundles, which also include the single Pedal 16' stop. A Great to Pedal reversible foot lever is also present. The organ was renovated by the Andover Organ Co. of Methuen, MA in 1987 as their R-275. No tonal changes were made, but the Swell 8' Violin Diapason was rescaled, and all of the pipework was revoiced and re-regulated. Documented: December 2, 1988. -Database Manager
