2005-04-07 - Listed in Ray Ann Sitler, research paper for MM from UMKC, A Chronological Catalogue of Pipe Organs in Kansas City, Missouri prior to 1930. 1982. Replaced by a Reuter in 1927, which used 7 ranks of Pilcher pipes. -Database Manager

2010-05-24 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- According to Jan.11, 2010 Facebook message from Keith Gottschall of Mid-States Pipe Organ Co. ( who has worked on the organ for decades), "The present building was built in 1880's, the first organ was a Pilcher built in 1888. The church records have the original dedication with organ specificatons. The organ had no facade, was located in the tower, tone opening was covered with a thin gauze curtain. The tracker console was in the gallery next to the tower." -Database Manager
