2017-05-31 - Updated by J. A. Hefner, naming this as the source of information: "A Brief History of Central United Methodist Church, 1805-1980" by Harry C. Laybourne, 1981.<br>
According to Harry Laybourne, the original [Pilcher] organ was gifted by Wilbur J. and Warren A. Myers, but it was removed and sold to Second Baptist Church several blocks away, then the 1960 Möller [cost $60,300] was presented 9 Oct 1960 by Mrs. Paul A. Pence.<br>
The 1899 Felgemaker, opus 703, is visible in a photo of the 1912 temporary tabernacle, but it was removed when the new church was built in 1912, then the Pilcher installed 1914. -Database Manager
