2012-12-12 - Updated through online information from John Igoe. -- An article in the Almanac Online December 9 (German builder of pipe organ returns to restore it) notes that Hans-Ulrich Erbsloh, who worked in Hamburg in the late 1960s, and originally had worked on the voicing of the organ, along with assistant Bernd Becker completed five weeks of work on the organ this fall. They removed, cleaned and restored every part. He also "restored the timbre of the organ," since past adjustments had distorted the original intent of Rudolf von Beckerath. Mr. Erbsloh was determined to bring the instrument back to its original tones. -Database Manager
2018-06-10 - The organ was dedicated by The Right Reverend Robert Burton Gooden, DD, Sunday, January 11, 1970. -Database Manager
2022-10-24 - Even though it was altered, it has been restored as much as possible to its original state by Hans-Ulrich Erbslöh, former head voicer at Beckerath. -Rani Fischer
