2005-05-04 - Relocated to St. Joachim R. C., Detroit, MI in 1886. Replaced by an 1887 Granville Wood & Son. -Database Manager

2021-03-27 - Ste. Anne's, located at Congress and Bates in downtown Detroit, was demolished in 1886. The parish, founded when Detroit was settled in 1701, divided the contents of the old church between Ste, Anne's, which built new on the west side, and St. Joachim, which was founded to serve the French population on the east side. Ste. Anne's got the bell, altar, and stained glass; among other things, St. Joachim got the organ. The 1887 Granville Wood was for the new Ste. Anne's and did not really replace this organ. -William M Worden
