Duddy rebuilt the organ with further tonal changes; yet another new 4-manual Austin console was added in 1984; rebuild and extensive tonal changes as 4/87 by Berghaus in 2003. -Database Manager

2018-12-12 - Updated by Mark Laubach, who has heard or played the organ. In April 2018, a major restoration was begun by the Berghaus Organ Company after water leaks damaged the walls and ceiling of the main organ chamber and caused some damage to parts of the instrument itself. Repairs to the roof, the organ chamber, and the instrument were successfully completed by September 2018. The church elected to use this opportunity to make a number of improvements to the instrument. This included cleaning of all the reed pipes (with structural repairs as needed), making improvements to pipe racking, winding stabilization, improvements to pipe speech and regulation, addition of a new adjustable music rack, new LED lighting at the console and in the main chamber, rebuilding of the pedal keyboard, rebushing of the Great keyboard, and other various improvements. The renewed instrument was rededicated on September 9, and a rededication recital by Canon Mark Laubach was performed on November 18. -Database Manager
