Notes

2005-06-01 - According to Thomas Cotner, this instrument (A-S opus 1264) was originally designed by G. D. Harrison, but was built after his death under the direction of Joseph Whiteford, installed in St. Paul's Cathedral by Paul Haggard, and tonally finished by Roy Perry. It was dedicated by Virgil Fox. It was rendered silent by the Murrah Federal Building bombing in 1995, and removed one year later to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Altus, Oklahoma. -Database Manager

2008-06-12 - Updated through information adapted from E. M. Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner Opus List, by Sand Lawn and Allen Kinzey (Organ Historical Society, 1997), and included here through the kind permission of Sand Lawn:
Replaced 1917 three manual Austin, #700; dedication recital played by Virgil Fox on October 22, 1960 [sic]; tonally altered by Roger Banks; mechanically overhauled by Thomas Cotner in 1984; severely damaged in 1995 Oklahoma City bombing; to be replaced by new instrument by John-Paul Buzard in 1998. -Database Manager
