2016-07-26 - Updated through online information from Rev. Larry Covington. <br>Opus 1762 was replaced in 1988 with an Allen. In 1990 the pipes and a few offset chests were removed to St. Mary Catholic Church in Mexia where they were incorporated into an organ built by Rev.Covington who used a small 4 rk Wicks w/console and chests donated from First Baptist in Mexia.<br><br>Several ranks were not used due to lack of space. This organ was vandalized in 1995 and removed to Austin where several of the ranks were added to the chancel organ at St. Louis Catholic Church. The original Pilcher console was sold. -Database Manager
