2009-08-13 - Updated through on-line information from Chad Boorsma. -- This congregation was known as the First Reformed Church of Jamestown until 1932. The organ was purchased in 1916 to replace a Mason and Hamlin organ that had been used since 1888. When the organ was dedicated, Professor Milton Hoffman spoke to the congregation. The Hinners organ was used until 1954 when it was replaced by a Schantz pipe organ. The building at this location now houses Forest Grove Christian Reformed Church, but the Schantz organ was moved in 1970 to Forest Grove Reformed Church's new location, 1630 32nd Ave., Hudsonville. -Database Manager
