Notes

2005-11-18 - Received from Jeff Scofield, Aeolian-Skinner Archives Website: Two of the three stop additions came from Skinner Op. 515, a 3/14 that was installed at First Methodist Church, Florence, AL, in 1926. When it was replaced by Reuter 2/19 Op. 2046 in 1983, three stops from 515 were moved to other organs. The Clarinet went to a Moller at Grace Episcopal in Sheffield, and the Concert Flute and Aeoline (as a celeste rank) went to 576 at Ensley-Highland. -Database Manager

2005-11-18 - From Randy Terry via Jeff Scofield: At some point, a Viola 8, Principal 4, and Piccolo 2 were added to the Swell. Under Samuel Burke's tenure, the organ was rebuilt. Colby rebuilt the console, and John Hendriksen worked with Sam to revise the stoplist. The Vox Humana was sold, and the Aeoline from opus 515 was installed in its place as a Celeste to the original Aeoline, and the Concert Flute from opus 515 went into the vacant right side case as an independent flute on the Great. A Skinner Oboe was acquired and expanded with a 16Â’ octave for the swell/pedal. -Database Manager
