Stettner, listing this web site as a source of information: https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/msg/d/pipe-organ/6381699108.html. <br> The Whiteside Family, who had operated this and two other area funeral homes, continued operating after their license had expired in January, 2015. By mid-2015, they closed and locked the doors and walked away. About 180 urns with human remains dating back as far as the 1920s were left behind. The organ is presently (November, 2017) listed for sale on Seattle--->Tacoma Craigslist for $25,000.00!!! I intend to write the seller and bring him some reality about the instrument's worth. It was originally purchased for $2,700.00!!! -Database Manager

NOTES
This organ was originally installed for Kilgen by Balcom and Provorse of Seattle, WA.
Writing on the wall of the chamber reads as follows:

                                   Kilgen * Unit
                                  Chapel * Organ
                               Installed * May, 1930.
                                 Balcom * Provorse
                                 Organ * Engineers
                               Frank * Rasor * asst.
                                   Warren * Webb

The organ has an interesting array of colored stoptablets. Flute stops and the Aeoline
have white tablets. The Vox Hum has red tablets. The V D Orch/Salic has blue tablets.
And the percussions have yellow tablets. The console is horseshoe shaped. The blower
and Tremolo are in the basement which renders the tremolo rather ineffectual by virtue
of its distance from the regulator.
