2019-09-15 - William Ripley Dorr was conductor of the famed St. Luke's Choristers of Long Beach, California; they appeared in over 90 feature films between 1930 and 1950, including such A pictures like The Bells of St. Mary's, San Francisco, Mrs. Miniver, Boys Town, Since You Went Away, The Corn Is Green and many others. -Database Manager

I do not want the organ to be too loud. The Gemshorn should be quite soft, but louder than the Aeoline. The Gedeckt I would like considerably softer than the Melodia. The Oboe should be somewhat horny, so that without tremulant it will make a good stop for soft Trumpet effects. The Vox might be very soft indeed, and with the fluty characteristics instead of the stringy. The Bourdon I would like of medium scale and the Lieblich of course much softer."
