Notes
2005-06-28 - Identified through information in Classified List of Hall Organs, published in 1929 by Hall Organ Co., West Haven, Connecticut. -Database Manager
2008-09-17 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the electrification and enlargement of the existing 1870s George Stevens & Co. instrument. The Choir was entirely new by Hall. Most of the Stevens pipework was retained, and the organ is entirely straight expect for the Pedal 16' Violone which is an extension of the original 8' Violoncello. Source: extant organ documented March 14, 1989. -Database Manager
2024-02-25 - Instrument was reorganized by Lahaise in the 1990s, with a new console on the altar platform in the front, and the addition of a "Recit" division (perhaps 5 stops) behind the high altar. I visited the church today, Feb. 2024. I did not play the organ but was told it is fully playable. The Stevens and Hall pipework is played from the new front console. The Hall console (horseshoe style with colored stop tabs) is disconnected but still in the corner of the organ gallery. -Andrew Scanlon
