2022-10-31 - Stop action is mechanical with slider chests; manual action is tracker to Barker lever with the pneumatics inside the chests ; pedal is tubular pneumatic. Sixteen front case pipes are great open diapason; 11 side case pipes, left of organist, are swell violin diapason. Great dulciana and swell aeoline have capped basses of 12; melodia has stopped bass. All 3 diapasons are slotted for tuning. Swell : Sto'pt. diapason has 12 open metal trebles; flute traverso is harmonic from middle C, and these pipes are tapered. The flue oboe is a gamba; its pipes are flattened from the upper lip for their entire length. The organ was cleaned and refurbished by the Newcomer company last month. -- *1964 OHS Handbook* -Paul R.
