NOTES
The organ is free-standing and housed in an oak case at the front of the
sanctuary. The 5-sectional facade contains the first 39 pipes of the Great
8' Principal arranged: 7-5-17-5-7. The console is on a movable platform
and may be placed anywhere in the chancel. The Swell division is located in
the left side of the case, and the Great and Pedal 16' Subbass unit are on
the right side. The original contract price was $106,000.00.

Pipes were built by CMC Organ Pipes of Erie, P., Trivo Co., Inc. of
Hagerstown, MD, and Eastern Organ Pipes of Hagerstown, MD. The console
shell and case panels were built by David Wigton of Dryden,MI. Other parts
werebuilt by Organ Supply Industries of Erie, PA and Klann Organ Supply of
Waynesboro, VA. The solid state relay, combination action, coupler driver,
and MIDI Resource System were built by Peterseon Electro-Musical Systems of
Alsip, IL. The MIDI system has record and playback capabilities.

The renovated sanctuary, piano, and pipe organ were all dedicated on Sunday,
May 23, 1999 at 4:00 p.m. The recitalist was Gary Quamme, a student from
Arizona State University. Before the recital, a power outage occurred. A
decision was made to have the reception first to pass the waiting time.
During this time, a member of the congregation procured a generator which
was ultimately used since the power grid had not yet been restored.

On the Great, all of the pipework is new except for the 16' Rohrflöte
extension which are used, recycled wood pipes. On the Swell, all of the
pipework is new except for the 8' Holzgedeckt which is a used, recycled
rank. The 1-3/5' Tierce breaks back to 3-1/5' pitch for the top 5 pipes.
The 1-1/3' Larigot breaks back to 2-2/3' pitch for the top seven pipes.
The 1' Gemshorn repeats for the top octave. The Pedal 16' Subbass is also
a used, recycled rank.
