The cost of the organ was $10,685.00, and with 4.2% sales tax of $448.76 the total came to $11,133.76. Balcom and Vaughan allowed a $2,500.00 credit on the 1947 M.P. Möller 'Portable' taken in trade for a final net cost of $8,644.76. Stop switching was via stop slides behind the keys, thus eliminating the need for a remote relay. But this meant a large bundle of cables had to be led from the console to the chamber junction. On the original contract, the Nasat is specified as being 80 pipes: 61 for the Nasat, 12 for the 1-1/3' Quint extension, and 7 as a bass extension for the 4' Rohr Floete. The the rank was always tuned pure throughout the 4' Rohr Floete compass, and then the 19 extension pipes were tuned pure as a quint-pitch rank. The organ was enlarged to 10 registers and 13 ranks in 1992, and all functions were converted to solid state in 2007. The wind pressure is 2-1/2” (65mm).
