2018-07-08 - Updated by Conrad Otto, who gave this as the source of the information: I am not familiar with the Organ, have only heard it played a few times in the past. This point is moot since the congregation has disbanded. I have a long history there and can say with assurance that the congregation was never associated with the Missouri Synod. It was when it was originally formed by a group of Masons who wanted to remain Lutheran. Faith Church was accepted into the Illinois Synod of the United Lutheran Church in America (ULCA). When the ULCA joined with the Augustana Synod (Swedish), the Suomi Synod (Danish) and the Finnish Lutheran Church to form the Lutheran Church in America (LCA), approximately 1960, Faith became an LCA congregation and then, later, ELCA. It was never Missouri Synod nor AELC. -Database Manager
