Notes

2005-07-27 - Contract Oct. 1942. Dedicated late 1944. 4 ranks added from Wicks factory studio organ. Possibly rebuilt by Wicks later (c. 1947, adding 1 rank). Damaged in a 1994 fire and subsequently rebuilt by St. Louis Pipe Organ Co. There were possibly other alterations, as St. Louis Pipe Organ believed that not many of the existing ranks were Schuelke. -Database Manager

2012-03-29 - Updated through online information from Ron Yeater. -- Because the organ was built during WWII, it was totally out of the question to provide ANY new pipework, so the majority of the pipes WERE Scheulke. A few ranks were scavenged from the factory studio organ and ranks in storage. The factory records showing the bureaucratic hoops that had to be jumped through to get this organ built make for interesting reading! -Database Manager
