2005-09-19 - On-line update from Barry Bierwirth -- It has tracker action, electropneumatic pedal action, I am told. It is in its original condition and location, but is no longer used, since services are held in a new building. (This building is now the chapel.) Once in a while it might be used for a wedding, but only seldom. Inside a board below the swell manual is written with ink or paint, "St. Paul's Evangelical Church, Oakville" -Database Manager
2014-08-28 - Updated through online information from Barry Bierwirth. -- Since the new Casavant was installed in 1998, the Kilgen tracker received little or no use. The old sanctuary was converted into a gathering room. The Kilgen could have stayed where it was, for it was recessed into the wall. But the organist and council at that time felt no need to keep it. It was apparently sold to someone in the area who had wanted to install it in his home. It turned out to be too large or difficult for that purpose, so to the best of my knowledge it was parted out to various persons. There is now a blank wall beneath the arch where the organ was located, and the organ chamber has been converted into a small kitchen for the church. -Database Manager
