2016-11-28 - Updated through online information from David Dewey.
Organ has been expanded over the years, final tonal design by Dr. Peter Hudson-Gibson.
Not all planned pipes have been installed at this date (Dec 2016). The most significant unfinished project are the Pedal 16' and 8' Diapason ranks, which are planned to be facade pipes flanking the center cross behind the altar. The bottom octave of the 16' are pipes made circa 1875 in Marysville, CA. Presently completing the installation of a Peterson Single Board Duo-Set combination action 128 level memory unit. Other stops not yet installed include the Mixture II and 16' Trumpets. Great and Swell are both under expression, Choir (Positive) division is in the same chamber as the swell.
Organ has been running on the original blower, which is barely adequate for the organ in its present condition. A larger vintage Spencer Orgablow is on hand and scheduled for installation in the Summer of 2017.
This organ is definitely an Orchestral voiced organ at 4.75" pressure with what can best be described as a "bodacious" trumpet rank. Organ is presently used for services, but when the majority of work is finished, concerts are planned.
Console is on a platform and can be moved to the front center of the sanctuary for concerts. Normally it is used at left of center, 90 degrees to congregation in its own recess. -Database Manager
