Notes

2005-11-01 - Identified through on line information from John Jurgensen, Organist and Director of Music Ministries. -Database Manager

2013-01-06 - Updated through online information from Scot Huntington. -- The contract was signed on the 25th of March, 1925 for delivery no more than one year later. The organ was shipped on June 5, 1926. The contract price was $16,000, minus $4,000 allowed on the Hook & Hastings organ taken in trade. The organ is installed in chambers at the front of the church, on either side of a second-floor choir gallery behind the altar. Moller provided no expression boxes or casework, only swell fronts and facade dummy pipes (natural zinc, lacquered). The console was oak, natural finish. This organ was so substantially rebuilt in 1970 as R-871, that it was essentially a new organ incorporating old chests and some pipework. -- Manual windchests had 73 notes. -Database Manager
