The organ was removed from St. Marys by Balcom and Vaughan, rebuilt with new Peterson solid state components, the pipework cleaned and re-regulated, etc. It was reinstalled at St. John the Evangelist in 1985 in a chamber on the left side of the chancel/altar. The chimes are across the chancel on the right side. The four ranks were originally called: Diapason, Lieblich Gedeckt, Viole Dolce, and Oboe. [Received on line from James R. Stettner June 22, 2009.]
