2009-03-01 - Updated through online information from Richard C Greene. -- Here is the announcement from the February 1929 issue of THE DIAPASON: "The beautiful new Bethlehem Lutheran Church, one of the largest Lutheran churches in the Twin-Cities, is to have a comprehensive three-manual organ. The contract for the instrument has been awarded to the Reuter Organ Company. E. C. Vogelpohl of New Ulm, Minn., represented the builders in the negotiations. The instrument is to be placed in three chambers, with each division under separate expression." The Reuter is the chancel organ. The Casavant is the Gallery organ. -Database Manager
2019-06-06 - Updated by David Engen, listing conversations with this person as the source of the information: Maria Bucka, organist at Bethlehem for many decades. This organ as listed is in the wrong church! This was Bethlehem Lutheran, 2200 Fremont Ave. N., Minneapolis, since renamed \"River of Life Lutheran\". The OTHER Bethlehem Lutheran on Lyndale has a Kilgen in the chancel, Phelps Casavant in the gallery. Not sure how you want to sort this out -- but the Reuter is in the church on Fremont. -Database Manager
