When members of the Presbyterian Church disbanded, the Preservation Foundation was formed to keep the building from being demolished, and to maintain and restore. The Presbyterian Church in Childress, Texas, our neighbor 30 miles away, pays for maintenance of the organ on an annual basis. The organ is used for community gatherings, weddings, funerals, Christmas community caroling, fundraisers and other functions. -Database Manager
