2008-01-08 - Updated through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- The pipes are in a ceiling chamber to the left side at the front of the church over the choir gallery. The console sits towards the left with the organist facing into the room and the choir gallery to the right. The five ranks are: Open Diapason, Gedeckt, Salicional, Dulciana, and Oboe. The bottom 7 pipes of the 8' Open Diapason are Haskelled as are the bottom 8 pipes of the 8' Salicional. The Reuter opus list says the organ was a 2/4. The Dulciana may have been added later. It follows the Salicional in the stoprail, and may have been a blank intended for a future 8' Voix Celeste. It also begins at bass GG, and the 4' Dulcet has no extension pipes - so the top octave repeats. Documented December 29, 1994. -Database Manager
