2013-04-15 - Updated through online information from Jeff Scofield. -- Comments from Bynum Petty: Apart from the original Aeolian-Skinner Solo pipes and the Austin Antiphonal, the organ was new in 1996. The old Solo pipes were incorporated into the new large Choir division. Another firm was hired to revoice the organ ca. 2000. Due to necessary buildings repairs, the organ was removed ca. 2005 and put in storage; Bynum Petty was then hired as consultant and Emery Bros., Allentown PA, reinstalled the organ; the organist removed the Allen electronics and installed Walker (mostly Pedal); Bynum Petty and Larry Trupiano did tonal work on the main organ and also replaced the Austin Antiphonal (except for the 8' Trumpet), replacing the pipework with a generously scaled and gently voiced principal chorus (8-4-2-IV). -Database Manager
