2005-12-19 - An article in <i>The New York Times</i>, December 18, 2005, described the relocation of this instrument by the Organ Clearing House to First Baptist Church on 79th Street. -Database Manager

2011-05-04 - Updated through online information from Stephen Hall. -- Removed in 2005, replaced by Schoenstein Opus 156 (Gallery) and Opus 157 (Chancel). NOTE: Although it had only one opus number, R-169 was two complete instruments, a three-manual chancel organ, and a complete gallery organ with its own two-manual console (rocker tab). In 2001, the Gallery organ was sold through the Organ Clearing House and moved to All Saints Church in River Ridge, Louisiana. In 2005, the Chancel organ was sold, also through the Organ Clearing House, and moved to First Baptist Church in Manhattan; the 32' Quintaton went to Northbrook Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Michigan. -Database Manager
