NOTES
This organ was originally built for a Synagogue in New Jersey. It was removed and rein-
stalled in Kennewick by members of the Holy Spirit Parish.

All string basses are of open wood for notes 1-12. The Pedal 16 Viole Bass is actually
the 16' Contra Dolce.

In 19__, Mr. Harold B. Curryer of Spokane added a new Peterson solid state relay, and effected
some tonal changes. In the Swell, the original 8' Aeoline pipes were removed from tenor C and
up, and the original Choir 8' Viole d'Orchestre was inserted in its place - to be tuned sharp
of the 8' Salicional as a Voix Celeste.

In the Choir, the removed 8' Viole d'Orchestre was replaced with a used Open Diapason from 4'
C and up. It is of a smaller scale than the Hillgreen Lane Open Diapason. It was renamed 4'
Octave at the console, and plays on the Great at 4' pitch, on the Choir at 4' and 2' pitch,
and in the Pedal at 4' pitch. An engraved 8' Schalmei tablet was inserted into the Choir,
presumably in preparation for another set of pipes. Chimes were also added to the organ, and
are playable from either the Great or the Choir.

The Choir 3-1/3' Tierce Flute is a source of both amusement and mystery. If it did originally
speak a Tierce pitch, then the stoptablet was engraved with the wrong fraction. 1-3/5' Tierce
would have been correct. It presently functions as a unit Nasard just like the 2-2/3' Quint
Flute on the Swell. This may have been another change made by Mr. Curryer. In either case, the
nomenclature and/or the pitch given have seemingly never been correct!

The 8' basses of the 8' Viole d'Orchestre, 8' Dulciana, 8' Salicional, and 8' Aeoline are all
made of open wood, and the pipes are bearded. The Pedal 16' Viole Bass is actually an extension
of the 8' Dulciana, and it, too, is of open wood.

One of two engraved plaques at the console read as follows:

                                          Organ
                                Rebuilt and Installed by
                              George Fox, Glenn Hollenberg
                               Pat McKenna, Tony Milewski
Gary Schnitz, Bill Schuck, John Sivulka
Ken and Karen Wessels, Bill & John Zilar.

The other plaque reads:

                                     Frank Blondin

                                 Mother Marie Ann S.S.A.
                                          and
                              Edmond and Mabel Cyr Blondin
