Notes

2005-12-30 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ is free-standing and encased in the rear gallery. The casework is of quarter-sawn oak. The façade is a pipe fence of 35 pipes including pipes 1-17 of the Great 8' Open Diapason. -Database Manager

2011-11-20 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- Stopped-by the church Nov. 15, 2011 to visit the organ. It is used regularly, but still in need of a thorough rebuilding/restoration. Two stops on the Swell have now failed, and another is stuck-on. Numerous dead notes are also appearing. The church did an extensive sanctuary remodel between 2006 - 2009. Sometime during that period, the organ was removed by John Moir/Balcom and Vaughan and placed into storage; then re-installed. But evidently no mechanical refurbishing was done. -Database Manager

NOTES
The organ is located in the rear gallery, and is housed in a free-standing
case with an attached, projecting keydesk. Pipes 1-17 of the Gr. 8' Open
Diapason are in the 35-pipe facade. The organ is entirely original except
for the Gr. 8' Dulciana which was replaced from tenor C by Möller Rep.
Charles M. Rich of Orting, Washington with pipes supplied by Möller when
the originals had allegedly collapsed on themselves. The originals are in
storage beneath the regulators, and only a few appear to be actually
damaged. The damage looks like someone grabbed the pipes to keep from
falling-over and bent them over at the rackboard level. Pipes 1-12 of the
Dulciana are of open wood with wood slide tuners. The Gr. 8' Melodia has
wooden slide tuners. The first 12 pipes of the Swell 16' Bourdon are un-
enclosed and diatonically divided at either end of the Great chest. The
Pedal 16' Bourdon has its first 26 pipes divided diatonically at either
side of the case. The top 16 pipes are on a chromatic chest under the
bass end of the Great. The manual windchests are membrane chests.
