NOTES
When the organ was originally installed, there were nearly as many prepared-for
stops as there were installed stops. The following stops were prepared-for:

Great: 8' Erzähler, 4' Spitz Flöte and 8' Trompete
Swell: 8' Salizional, Swell 8' Vox Coelestis, III Zimbel, and 8' Krummhorn
Pedal: 16' Prinzipal, III Mixture, 16' Fagott

Four of the prepared-for stops were installed by Casavant in 1970. These were the:

Great: 8' Erzähler
Swell: 8' Salizional, Swell 8' Vox Coelestis, and 8' Krummhorn

The Pedal 8' Bordun was from the 16' Subbass, however, since there were no pipes
provided for an extension – it only played for 20 notes. The chimes were retained
from the previous 1948 M.P. Möller installed at the previous edifice at 24th & Colby.

A plaque adjacent to the builder's nameplate on the console reads:

                      Installation By
                     Clele d'Autremont
          District Representative Casavant Freres
                     Portland, Oregon

The Great 8' Prinzipal has notes 1-32 en façade as does the entire Pedal 8' Prinzipal.

In 1991, further additions and tonal revisions were made by Balcom and Vaughan of
Seattle, Washington to complete the organ. The two manual 2' stops were swapped and
the previous Swell 2' Prinzipal renamed Oktav. The 4' Spitz Flöte and 8' Trompete were
added to the Great. On the Swell, a 4' Principal not originally planned-for was substi-
tuted for the intended III Zimbel. It is installed on the original 4' Koppel Flöte toe-
board, and the Koppel Flöte has been moved to an added, elevated chest mounted to the
rear wall of the swellbox. On the Pedal, the originally-intended III Mixtur and 16'
Fagott were omitted in favor of a 16' Bombarde/8' Trompette unit of 44 pipes. The 61
pipes of the 8' Trompete were added on a new chest at the end of the original Casavant
Great chest bearer. The 12 pipes of the 16' Bombarde extension are installed on the
floor of the chamber beneath the Swell. The full-length, un-mitred resonators rise-up
behind the façade and beside the Swell enclosure. Also, the 12-pipe extension of the
16' Subbass was added. It is made of new capped metal pipes on a new chest and also
installed in the chamber beneath the Swell. All added pipework was acquired from
Jacques Stinkens in Zeist, Holland.
