2021-10-22 - Announced in the May 1945 issue of *The Diapason*, a "gift of $8000 from teh Kulas Foundation, through Elroy J. Kulas, vice-chairman of the Jones & Laughlin Steel Co., and Mrs. Kulas." The museum trustees and other gift sources matched the funds. The announcement also indicated that the "Plans for the work have been worked out by Walter Blodgett and Walter H. Holtkamp, president of the Votteler-Holtkamp-Sparling Organ Company of Cleveland, which will carry out the project." -Paul R. Marchesano
