It is available on the Great, Positiv, and Pedal with its own drawknob. This was installed when the rest of the organ was installed in 1977. The Casavant was designed by University of Alabama professor of organ Warren Hutton in consultation with John Tyrrell and Gerhard Brunzema of Casavant. The Great division is on the right side, as is much of the Pedal. The Great V Mixture is a 1-1/3' mixture whose beginning composition is: 19-22-26-29-33. The compass of the Great Maas chimes if tenor G thru g44. The Swell enclosure is on the left side. The Swell IV Scharf is a 1' mixture whose beginning composition is: 22-26-29-33. The 16' Fagott is half-length. The Positiv is in front of the Swell. It's III Zimbel is a 2/3' mixture whose beginning composition is: 26-29-33. The Pedal 16' Prinzipal is flanking the organ gallery center window. The Pedal IV Mixture is a 2' mixture whose beginning composition is: 15-19-22-26. In a letter to James R. Stettner dated December 27, 1988 – organist Jamie McLemore noted that the following tonal and functional changes were hoped-for, and to be executed by Casavant: -Revisions to the Pedal 16' Prinzipal and 16' Subbass. -Add an 8' Flute Celeste II to the Swell (8' Flute Douce & Celeste). This will also be available on the Positiv and will be activated by the present Zimbelstern drawknob. -Change Positiv Zimbelstern to a reversible toe stud. -Change Great 16' Quintaden to a 16' Bourdon. -Change Positiv 8' Fern Flöte to an 8' Salicional. -Possible addition of an electronic 32' Bourdon to the Pedal division. -Replacing the combination action with a solid state, 8-channel memory system.
